About

Georgia Powell is an Australian-born ceramic artist living and working in Mexico. Her practice is rooted in connection, material integrity, and transformation. Trained originally as an events florist creating large-scale installations, she turned to clay as a medium that could hold both strength and fragility.. a discovery that reshaped the course of her life.

Now based in a rural town in Jalisco, Georgia’s work is informed by the surrounding landscape and the depth of Mexican ceramic traditions. Each piece is handbuilt, sculptural in presence, and marked by contrasts.. delicate yet strong, refined yet raw, quiet yet commanding. From symbolic wall works to large-scale installations and utilitarian vessels, her pieces embody both restraint and emotional intensity.

Her collections are vessels of memory and energy, a form of storytelling that captures the gesture of a falling leaf, the permanence of stone, or the rhythm of time itself.

Georgia collaborates with interior designers, architects, and collectors to create singular works that resonate on both aesthetic and emotional levels.

Her work is not made for everyone, but for those who connect with it deeply, it becomes a reminder of what matters.. presence, beauty, and the enduring power of craft.

Our Values

Material truth.

Clay doesn’t lie. We respect its honesty and let it lead.

Creative integrity.

Every piece is original and made with intention.

Refinement through contrast.

Where softness meets strength.

Hand over the machine.

There is beauty in the imperfect… in what can only be made by hand.

Community, not commodity.

This is about connection… not mass production.

The Studio

Tucked between the mountains and the sea, Georgia’s studio is located in the clay-rich region of El Tuito, just outside Puerto Vallarta. The setting is as much a part of her work as the clay itself.

The studio is a working space where new collections, commissions, and collaborations take shape. On any given day, Georgia might be finalizing a large-scale piece for a designer, hosting a local child who shows interest in clay, or photographing a new body of work for international clients.

Visits are by appointment and include viewings, private consultations, and on-site workshops. For collectors and designers interested in seeing the full range of work, the studio offers a quiet and direct way to connect with the source.
