Fleurs du Mal

Hand-built in stoneware, this collection traces the life of a flower.. from its first, perfect bloom to the moment it bends, dries, and gives way to decay.

Each form moves through that transformation… fresh and bright at first, then weeping, curling, and finally collapsing into itself. What begins as beauty becomes something raw, fragile, and strangely tender.

The series emerged during a time of emotional chaos and transition.. I was moving from my former life in flowers as an events florist into clay.
Fleurs du Mal is a meditation on impermanence.. the quiet, inevitable poetry of change.
